I’m excited to share the first milestone of my PhD journey—a presentation that encapsulates my early exploration into the intersection of quantum computing and optimization problems. The talk, titled "Applied Hybrid Adiabatic Quantum Computing for Optimization Problem," dives into the challenges of solving complex combinatorial problems with a hybrid approach involving quantum annealing, classical algorithms, and machine learning techniques.
This presentation outlines my initial research goals, including the development of a hybrid computational framework that leverages quantum annealing (QA) and its approximate form, QAOA. I also discuss how we can simulate quantum algorithms on classical hardware despite current limitations in quantum hardware.
I’m enthusiastic about the potential of this research to contribute to real-world applications, especially in fields like power networks, where optimization is crucial. I’m eager to see how this project unfolds in the coming years.
